Clean eating has always been a challenge for me. I love my wine, I love my treats. But the last of the pregnancy weight I gained with Arjun wasn’t going to melt away on its own. I came across the Whole 30 program and decided to give it a try. I actually surprised myself that I lasted the full 30 days. If you haven’t heard much about it, it’s basically eating clean for 30 days, and giving up dairy, sugar, grains, legumes & alcohol. Snacking is also not a part of the program, but that’s the only part I didn’t follow, as I am still nursing and didn’t want to affect my supply.
I did it more to learn how to eat better, look at the labels on my foods, more than to lose weight, but hey losing 8lbs in the month, works for me too!
