Weather experts are predicting predicting more rain, winds and snow in Vancouver this winter. Without getting too technical, La Niña is sticking around and she loves snow… lots of it.

There is currently a 70% chance we’ll see ‘significant snowfall’ on the Lower Mainland this winter. So if you’re still stressed out from last winter, maybe look to hit Mexico for a good portion of this year!

Not everyone is annoyed , skiers and boarders are excited about another big season coming up. Cypress Mountain has an addition to their runs this year and with a good amount of snowfall it’ll be pumping.
“There is a new ski area which is called Sunshine Face which is at the skier’s right of top gun ski run and that’s a double-black diamond, so it’s definitely an advanced ski area that’s opening up this year.”
