The beef is back! Someone is throwin’ shade Drakes way once again but he’s not having any of it!
Rapper Pusha T released an album last Thursday with a song called ‘What Would Meek Do’ ft. Kanye West and the 2 of them threw our Canadian boy Drake some shade saying “The game’s f—ed up, It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin” (Quentin Miller is a ghost writer and has been linked with Drake in the past leaving some other rappers suspicious of who’s really writing his music).
Anyway, Drake wasn’t having any of it and fired back instantly with a song called ‘Duppy Freestyle’ (honestly it came out so quickly he must have ran to the studio recorded it and said drop it now). In his clap back track he talks down on Pusha T throughout the whole song referring to his old age and how his stardom has gone down significantly and at the end he brings Kanye into it “Tell ‘Ye we got an invoice comin’ to you / Considering we just sold another 20 for you.”. Assuming that Drake evening mentioning their song/names has them selling more tracks (which is true). AND to top it all off Drake posted a fake invoice on Instagram written out to Pusha T and Kanyes label for $100,000… BOOM.
No news on the beef has since been released but Drake took to Instagram one more time to basically say “ANYWAY I released a new song off my next album, here it is” SO if you want to listen to that below as well you can! The song is called ‘I’m Upset’ and is set to release June 28th.
Check out the two beef songs and the invoice below!
