James Cameron - Challenging the Deep
Take a deep dive into ocean exploration with Science World's Challenging the Deep exhibit. Challening the Deep follows famous explorer and filmmaker James Cameron and all of his achievements in deep-sea science, engineering, and exploration. With interactive videos, real artifacts, and shipwreck models, this exhibit makes you feel like you're really at the bottom of the sea.
Challening the Deep is the perfect exhibit to learn about ocean geography, history, technology, and all with a creative spin. Check out artifacts and equipment from Cameron's deep-sea expeditions, discoveries from famous shipwrecks, and even sit in a mock-up of the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER that Cameron dove in to the bottom of the Earth. Plus, of course you know they'll be memorabilia and props from his film, Titanic.
Challenging the Deep will be dropping anchor at Science World on June 23rd and runs until January 1st, 2024.
This exhibit is produced by Australian National Maritime Museum, in association with the Avatar Alliance Foundation, and is toured internationally by Flying Fish.
