Brought to you with love by the Merchants of West 4th Avenue, Khatsahlano Street Party returns for its 12th year on West 4th Ave, between Burrard and MacDonald, for an action-packed day of music, activities, shopping, food, and fun on SATURDAY, JULY 6th, from 11 AM - 9 PM. This year we invite all our festival goers to #SHINEYOURLIGHT and join in this year’s theme by donning your most sparkly outfits and letting your personality shine!

Renowned independent record store Zulu Records, located in the heart of West 4th has once again created a spectacular lineup featuring an eclectic array of local talent. Hotel Mira will be bringing their anthemic sounds and earworm ballads to the Burrard Stage presented by STIR. 5 piece femme-powered, hip hop group NADUH, alternative rock and roll band Bend Sinister, Serengeti, Uncle Strut, Nette, and many more will also be taking over the Burrard Stage!

Khatsahlano is excited to team up with Vancouver FolkFest to present the Maple Stage! This collaboration brings a FolkFest feel to the Maple Stage, with a specially curated lineup that celebrates folk music's rich tradition and diverse sounds. By supporting each other, Khatsahlano and Vancouver FolkFest aim to enhance Vancouver's vibrant music scene and provide even more musical enjoyment for the community.

“Khatsahlano is a unique opportunity to see a diverse selection of fantastic homegrown talent. In keeping with West 4th Avenue’s long history of supporting the arts, Zulu has curated more than 50 musical acts to perform at our street festival, spanning ten blocks from Burrard to MacDonald,” says Grant McDonagh owner of Zulu Records. “As the performers cover almost every musical genre, we are delighted to showcase exciting BC artists, certain to please everyone’s musical tastes”.

For the little music lovers in the family, make sure to visit KHATS KIDS Stage at Trafalgar Street. Enjoy performances by favourite kid’s entertainers, Music with Marnie, Matt Henry, and the Madrigal Sisters. This event supports talents of all ages and is proud to feature performances from the students of School of Rock and Sarah McLachlan School of Music. New this year, KIN JUNIORS will kick off the day, inviting youths to learn new active movements while having fun with Kin Culture.

Known for its active community, Kitsilano is home to seventeen athletic stores along West 4th Avenue. Make a stop at the Active Zone in the Safeway lot, where Arc’Teryx is bringing the thrill of adventure with a climbing wall, offering a chance for both beginners and seasoned climbers to test their skills. Additionally, Peak Performance will provide a mini golf course, offering another engaging activity for all ages to enjoy.
