Richmond RCMP is inviting the community to roll into summer safely! Get ready for the second annual E-Scooter Safety & Skills Challenge, designed to educate new and experienced riders on how to navigate Richmond’s streets confidently and legally on electric scooters.
Happening in the Northwest parking lot of Landsdowne Centre on Saturday, June 14th, this free event is open to anyone 16 years of age or older. Participants will take part in a safety briefing and then proceed through various basic skills courses before navigating the comprehensive skills challenge course. There will be giveaways for all participants, as well as door prizes!
All participants must be 16 years of age or older and are required to sign a waiver. Helmets are mandatory. E-Scooters and helmets will be provided on site by Lime, or participants may bring their own.
